1. Enjoy The Gorgeous Beaches
60th & 86th Street Beaches sit roughly in the middle of 7 Mile Island with Avalon to the north & Stone Harbor to the south. 60th Street Beach is gorgeous and is also a protected beach (meaning its protected by members of Avalon Beach Patrol), a raft beach (use of rafts is permitted), and near a surf beach (surfing is permitted at 63rd Street beach).

3. Stone Harbor Recreation Center Activities
Stay active at Stone Harbor Recreation Center (82nd St) which has basketball courts, tennis courts, soccer fields and offers many programs open to the public including yoga, zumba, cardio for seniors, and more including the always popular surf camp (offered daily from mid june-sept).

4. Excellent Golf Courses
There are several excellent public & semi-private golf courses within 30 minutes of both villas. Some of our favorites are Avalon Golf Club, Blue Heron Pines Golf Club, and Greate Bay Country Club.
5. Cape May County Zoo
Take the family to the Zoo which provides free year-round admission to a collection of >550 animals representing 250 species in 85 acres of exhibits. The Zoo is less than 15 minute drive from both villas.

7. Fishing / Boating
Enjoy outdoor sports like fishing, kayaking, boating and water skiing in the calm back bay waters or charter a boat for some ocean sportfishing.

More than 100 specialty shops line 96th Street in Stone Harbor and Avalon’s “downtown” boasts a similar number of shops to satisfy your shopping pleasure.

9. Wetlands Institute
Visit the Wetlands Institute, and enjoy the beautiful gardens. You can see various native plants, enjoy the boat rides, kayaking and live animal interactions here. Understanding and conserving wet lands is the mission of Wetlands Institute.
